Inspired by the laidback nature of the West Coast and California’s rich history of trendsetting style, we capture raw moments using a combination of Super 8 film and digital to evoke a feeling of nostalgia. 

what is super 8?

Super 8 is real film. Not a filter, not a preset. Actual 8mm celluloid that runs through a vintage camera, gets developed in a lab, and is scanned for editing. It's the same format families in the 60’s and 70’s shot home movies on, which is why it feels like a memory instead of a recording. I shoot it alongside digital and cut the two together: digital for clarity, Super 8 for feeling. That blend is the signature.
